transferring photos from my phone evn though broken

i have a samsung s3 i9300, with a broken screen, which is just black constantly. im struggling to get my photos off my phone to my computer, i hope i havent lost theem??!!
 
Welcome to the guest questions forum!

Are your photos on an external sd card or the internal memory? If they are on the internal memory, you should be able to connect your phone via USB to your computer and search for a folder labelled DCIM. The pictures should be in there, so just drag and drop them to your PC.
