Transformer vs Acer Iconia A200

I just picked up the A200 a couple days ago. I'm somewhat happy, but it just feels like it's lacking sometimes. I was curious how much of a performance boost the Transformer would be compared to the A200. The specs seem very similar, but I may be missing something. Basically, is it worth the extra $50 and why? Any input at all would be very much application. Thank you in advance.

+1, El Presidente is right. Go for the Iconia. Or you could wait for Asus to fix this, but they didn't even acknowledge the issue yet (far as I know).

Good to know, I'm actually debating getting the prime since the Transformer isn't a good idea, just don't know if I want to spend that much cash at the moment. I know this is the Transformer section, but any advice on if the Xoom would be a better choice over the acer? I want a full size usb slot which I'm pretty much staying away from the Galaxy.

Edit: oh yeah, also, let's assume I'm going to be rooting the device and flashing a custom rom (if there are any custom ics roms for the device). So that might solve the problem with the Transformer, would that change anything on your advice on which to go with?

The custom ROMS are based on the official firmware, so unfortunately they contain the bugs too (it's been suggested the issue with with the nVidia drivers). The AOSP ROMs are mostly WIPs too. I've been meaning to give the CM9 nightlies a whirl for ages, but I keep getting distracted by Mass Effect 3.

One of the main benefits I see of the Asus devices over the rest of the tablets out at the moment is the keyboard, so if it was me, I'd go for the Prime. I believe it's not without it's share of issues either though.

Ah ok.. Well the keyboard doesn't matter to me, I probably wouldn't even buy the keyboard. I guess I'll post a similar thread in the Xoom forum to see what they think about their device.
