Apps Translate Android

Hi,

Is there any way I could translate android's main interface (contacts, settings,...)?

I searched for it, but it seems like google hasn't set anything online so users can contribute to translations (like they did for the google.com interface, etc)

In the Android Roadmap are planning to translate the main interface. You can obtain more information in the URL: http://source.android.com/roadmap

In the "Android Developers" Group (http://groups.google.com/group/android-developers) you can see a draft titled "Localizing Android Apps" (http://groups.google.com/group/android-developers/web/localizing-android-apps-draft) where a Google employee explains how to locate Android Aplications.

My language is not listed there. Maybe after they (google) do the main translation, they'll make a way for other less used languages
