transparency for Virtuous 3.1

Anyone know how to add transparency back into Virtuous 3.1?

I am looking at the change log and I see:

V2.6 - "Eliminated transparency in notification pull down, as it was generally unpopular. "

That is too bad, because it is just what I am looking for. I would like to make the pull down and APP drawer trasparent.

I found an XDA forum describing it, but I don't know how to mess with ADB shell stuff...

I was hoping there was just a toggle button in Virtuous Buddy. Suggestions?

I too was shock when it was removed, I asked why in the XDA thread and was told it was unpopular. The thing is I never saw any post complaining about it.

Anyways i know this isnt exactly what you want but this is what I used when I used the Virtuous ROM.
