transparent icon for launcher pro dock?

there is a thread on this but it leads me to another website and down a rabbit hole that I couldn't follow.

i'm running launcher pro and have a custom dock that needs transparent icons over the shortcuts, if that makes sense. can anyone upload or give me the right course of action? i've been googling this for a minute but apparently i don't speak the right language

cot dayum that took a long time! even though I could follow your link on my mac from my phone it would take me to a generic layout of complete photo gallery. tried uploading to zshare, couldn't download, tried direct link to image, nope and finally saved to desktop and sent as an attachment.

sorry for me being stupid but why do you need transparent icons? ive heard people talk about them but i dont know what they do to your dock

any help would be greatly appreciated
