Help Transparent navigation bar

Anyone know a link that'll help me get the navigation bar transparent so the black behind it becomes part of the wallpaper.

Thought that was standard? Mine was out of the box at launch. Stock launcher anyway.

Only on the homescreen. Using the browser, hangouts or any other app it won't be transparent. If yours was like that out of the box then it wasn't new.

Ah, you'll need to root for that then unless another launcher allows for it, saying wallpaper in the original post threw me.

Correct. I would have to root. I just can't remember where the link is to root and have the navigation bar transparent.

It's probably something you can do using the exposed module? That's my best guess as the easiest way to make it happen

OK here's an update. Rooted phone and tried a few different apps that'll give me the option to have my navigation bar transparent. Mostly all of them had flaws that made me remove them. Went back to good ol' stock and I feel good about it. Hopefully 4.5 or 5.0 something will change.
