Help Trapped in one album, no album list toggle

Irrelevant

Lurker
Hi, I need some help quickly please. My Galaxy S6 , Android version 6.0.1, always traps me in the gallery last recorded to. Meaning if I take a picture with the regular camera, I can only access that Gallery, and when I take screenshot and hit View, I'm trapped in the screenshots and cannot even access the whole album in that case. When I Force Stop - but this only works some of the time - I am able to toggle by swipe the list of all albums, but this only works until the next time I take a picture and I am trapped again. What can I do to fix this permanently?

Here's an example of the screenshot case:

Hi

Because when you access a picture either from the screenshot notification, or from the thumbnail in the camera app, you are not opening the gallery app, just previewing that particular picture and its folder. You need to open the Gallery app separately using its own icon - then it should work as expected.

How do you exit the app? Are you pressing the back button (right key beside home) at all? That's how you get out of albums and all. If you used to be on an iPhone it's an understandable mistake, since iPhones have no static back key, and the one on the Samsungs are often in invisible mode, lighting up only when touched. There used to be a setting for this in older Samsungs but it's strangely missing in the newer models. I suggest reading the link I will provide and downloading the app, while setting the keys to be always on.
