Trash Can Question ??

Hi all, I'm new to the forum so sorry if this question has been asked a million times, but does any know how i can get the trash can icon back in my gallery, I can select it in options, but it used to be visible on the photo itself, it's driving me mad!!! Thank you in advance for any help you can offer
