I have been trying to cast my note 5 to my windows 10 Dell laptop using the 'connect app' on my laptop and 'smart view' on my note 5 because I am often in rural areas without wifi and want a bigger screen to read etc..
Neither device will see each other and I have visibility turned on for both devices.
Alternatively, if someone knows of another way I can cast, please let me know.
