Android Question

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300).

When I make calls I don't hear a dialling tone and I can't hear the person on the other end of the phone unless I turn my phone on speaker. If someone rings me I still can't hear the person. In both circumstances they can hear me.

No damage has been done to the phone, however, I just got back from holiday and phone calls were fine when made there. Upon my arrival home, my phone calls weren't working properly (as detailed above).

I have turned my phone on and off, tried different mobile networks and checked my phone volume.

All other sound e.g. app sounds, phone sounds (ringtones etc) and music work fine on my phone.

Hello and welcome to AndroidForums.com. My name is Bryan and it sounds as though your in-call volume is turned down. This is a volume that is accessible when initiating or receiving a call by holding down the volume up or volume down keys. This is a separate volume control than what is in the Samsung's settings menu.

If you need more assistance, please join us at: AndroidForums.com. We have a dedicated forum for Samsung Galaxy S3 phones.
