Help Trouble loading Bluetooth-imported .vcf contacts

Hi, just got a new Moto G (2014). Importing contacts from a Blackberry Curve 9360. I imported all contacts (500) in .vcf format via Bluetooth to the Moto G, but it did not update the Android People / Contacts app. I can view the "Bluetooth imported files" and add .vcf contacts one by one, but ...

Also, in the Android People / Contacts app > Settings ... > Import/export, gives me 2 import options, "Import from SIM card" (not applicable) and "Import from storage". I choose the latter, and it says "No vCard file found on the SD card.

Help? Thanks!

Find where the vcard file was stored (either bluetooth or Download folder I'd guess) and move it to the root of the sd card, and see whether it finds it then.

How can I find the vcard file? I looked through the list of 500 individual contacts in the Bluetooth transfer screen, not there. Can I make vcard file on a BlackBerry and import it?

Also, I have a gmail account, contacts currently not synced between blackberry and gmail account. If I sync them will that solve it?

I assumed you'd transferred a vcard file to the phone by BT when you asked about importing. If the BB can export it's contacts to as a vcf then yes, copy that to the Android then import should work.

If you have contact syncing enabled between the Android and the GMail account then if you sync the BB to the same Gmail it should import them to the Android.
