Trouble Understanding Icon/Customization

Hi everyone!

I just am a little confused about setting up the phone for icons and other customization. I found some icons online, and plugged my phone into my computer. I placed the icons into the DCIM folder where my photos are.

My question is, is there a way to create sub folders within the photo folder, or just a directory for 'customization assets'? I know there are folder organization apps on the market, but I don't know if they're what I need?

yes you can. if you don't already have a file viewer app, i use Astro, download one. it helps with navigating files on the phone.

I have created my sub folders for icons, docks, wallpapers. I have even created subs for themes within those just to help with searching.
