Trouble with ADW Launcher

I have a Xperia x10 Mini and have downloaded ADW Launcher from the Android Market. How do I start using it?

Welcome to the forums.

To change launchers, go into the application manager (menu > settings > applications > manage applications) and clear data and defaults on all other launchers (TWZ, Launcher Pro, etc), then reboot.

You may see the launcher choice prompt when you back out of the menu to your home screen; merely make the selection then. Otherwise you'll see it upon reboot.

My tip is to also download an app called Home Switcher free from the Market. It gives you a really easy way to switch between any installed launcher programmes. The Sony one is just called Home by the way. You can also set which one you want as default from the Home Switcher programme too which is easier than the Manage Applications thing, especially as SE have put in extra steps under 2.1 which makes it all a bit of a faff.
