I'm having problems that are it only stays on for about 20 mim. and the only way to get it back on is to unplug and replug it .Also at times the light on the front fades in and out, also in doesn't show up in the source everytime I think I might have a bad one.
It sounds like it is going to sleep. When it appears off does pressing a key on the remote do anything? Of course if that is happening while it is actively precessing or playing video then that is not the problem and you may have a defective unit.
