Trying to find a Music player that will hold positions when you come back to songs?

I just switched from the iPhone and all the music apps for androids are frustrating me. If I listen to a podcast I downloaded and then go to a different track and then come back, it doesn't hold the spot on the original track. It always starts over from the beginning. On the iPhone, it always remembers where you left it. Is there a setting or an app that remembers and leaves the track at the same time it was at before leaving? Thanks.

I've been using an app called "BeyondPod" for my podcast listening pleasures. As far as I can tell, it does exactly what you are asking about. Google/Android doesn't currently have a native podcast/video/music(all in one) app anymore the way that Apple has with Itunes. But there are plenty of apps that you can try out. Beyondpod also lets you view video podcasts and you can also add/search for all of your podcasts right from the app. Hope this helps.

Astro player. It has it in the settings to resume songs or audio books. It does it by default right out of the box, but you can turn it off as needed.

It's a paid app with a free trial. But if you join their forum and use the beta version I believe they will give it to you free of charge. The beta version (Astro player nova) is a step up from the normal version (Astro player). I have the beta version and it works just fine. :)

In the settings (For which you're talking about), it's called Bookmarks and resuming. ;)
