Will send calls on certain contacts straight to voicemail. I use blocking mode, but that still rings once on their end before it goes to vm. I can use call forwarding but that sends every single call straight to voicemail. I can't find anything, anywhere, that won't ring even once and just send it right to voicemail. Help! I have a note 3

A lot of the really powerful call blocker apps need root access. Is your device rooted? Also, what version of Android are you currently running?
I don't have any experience with the non-root options, but I did use and enjoy Call Master for quite a while: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fahrbot.apps.blacklist
Its pretty advanced and can be tricky to set up, but it definitely can route calls to voicemail without the phone ringing. Again, though, it does require root.

Call blockers have trouble blocking the first ring. Sometimes the phone rings once or a partial ring, sometimes no ring at all. I assume this is the problem you are concerned with. Advanced Call Blocker gets around this with an option to silence the first ring. Also, it does not require root.
