Help Trying to install Android OS on a Kindle Fire

I recently purchased a Kindle Fire HD 6. I like it a lot, but it's lack of customization options and incompatibility with certain apps is a bit of a downside so I've decided to convert it to an Android OS.

After doing a bit of research I found http://n2aos.com/ which seemed like exactly what I was looking for. Thing is, I can't even get past the compatibility check. The weird thing is I am able to do file transfers, my computer seems to recognize it as a Kindle, but when I go to device manager it says MTP drivers aren't installed.

Also there's this thing about enabling ADB and I'm not sure if I've done that or not. I did a quick search and the only thing I could find was to enter echo 0x1949 >> “%USERPROFILE%.android\adb_usb.ini but I've looked in my appdata and that directory doesn't even exist.

I've also installed the Android SDK packs but I've done so many searchs and tried so many things I forget why. I think I thought it had something do with the ADB thing.

Here are some screenshots to help you guys get a better idea of what I have going on.

And by the way I am running 64 bit Windows 7 Professional

Oh and by the way I'm not sure if this is the place to go or not but I can't seem to find help on any other site. The forums on n2aos don't work and no responses on reddit either so if I'm in the wrong place could someone point me to where I should go?
