I purchased the following, with the idea being I would turn my old stereo system into a Bluetooth compatible device so I can listen to music from my phone on my stereo.

However, I can't pair the phone with this device. I follow all instructions and the transmitter just doesn't come up in my list of Bluetooth connections. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
