I previously rooted my nexus 7. Now, probably because of the latest update, it does not appear to be rooted.
I originally rooted it with the "Nexus Root Toolkit v. 1.5.5 by WugFresh". It was long enough, that I don't remember the exact steps I took nor the guide I followed.
When I try to re-root it with this same root toolkit, it reboots my nexus a few times, and then it opens up TWRP, Team Win Recovery Project. I don't know what to do there, so I tell it to reboot the system.
After that, the root toolkit gives me a message saying that everything looks good to it.
So then I open up SuperSU, and it tells me that the SU binary needs to be updated. I tell it to do so, and I get "Installation failed!"
What am I missing? Do I need to figure out how to do this manually instead of with a toolkit?
