Tubemate shortcut virus?

Its bothering me. Last night tubemate keeps appearing in my home screen. I dont even installed that app EVER. I tried to search that app in Google apps store but there is nothing like that appears in my homescreen. I asked my friend about is and he said maybe it is a virus? How come when my phone have a virus like that. It bothers me so much cause it keeps appearing until now. Please save my xperia z2. Please comment if you know how to fix this mess guys.

What apps have you recently installed? It could be from one of them.

No sir. I didn't even get installed any app for 1 month because my internal memory is getting full

I have a Samsung Galaxy Edge and I am experiencing the same exact problem that you are experiencing. how do I get rid of it?

See if in tubemate permissions you can find something like "Install Shortcuts". If you can find it, then it's tubemate who is installing the shortcuts...

I am not able to find to pay anywhere in my list of applications or anywhere on my phone other than on my home screen. I believe this is because I never downloaded this app

I figured it out I just got the free avg app and it scanned the tablet and it solved the problem.

That never worked for me on my galaxy note 4. It happend on mine 5 days ago i think. When i woke up it was there and theyre many. I just dont know where it came from. I didnt download anything nor got into somesort of suspicious websites (i think). Well as far im pretty sure about, the fake tubemate apps are appearing when im connected to the internet otherwise they stop spreading
