TuneLink Audio Bluetooth....

One of the possible deal killers for me would be if my TuneLink Bluetooth doesn't work. This is a car AD2DP device that plugs into a cigarrette lighter and has a 3.5mm line level out that you plug into your aux. It's pretty high quality. High enough that I've cut the wire and I'm a pretty big audio nut with tens of thousands in audio gear.

It does only A2DP. My droid x will connect to both the TuneLink and a bluetooth phone profile headset or my prius built in bluetooth simulaneously. If I'm playing music or listening to a podcast and I get a call, the music or podcast is paused automatically while there is call activity.

I'm guessing from the other bluetooth threads that this is going to be quite busted on the S3 which would be a deal killer.

Does anyone have a TuneLink or othe A2DP stereo dongle that they are paired to with their S3? If so, can you also connect to your headset at the same time and does calling work correctly?

I have the tune link and am having trouble connecting automatically. I am paired but I have to connect manually. I am sure there is a way but i haven't found it yet. What is more disconcerting is that when I am connected the call audio doesn't pass through the bluetooth ...

I drive a 2011 Honda Pilot and my Samsung Galaxy S3 (sprint) connects to the CAR's PHONE, and the TUNELINK perfectly. I can receive calls through the car's radio, and play my Pandora and Sirius/XM via bluetooth to the Tunelink with ZERO problems. The FIRST Tunelink I bought had constant problems, but I sent it back to the manufacturer who replaced it. If you have problems connecting or the connection drops, you might have a bad radio in the Tunelink. Email the company, and ask to have it swapped. The customer service is pretty good. support@newpotatotech.com
