Hi. Is there a way to turn off the proximity sensor on the CAT S60?

When is it activating that you don't want it to?
It's probably damaged because when i make a call the screen goes off and does not turn on when i get the phone away from my ear. I downloaded a sensor diagnostics tool and the proximity sensor is stuck to zero inches and does not respond. So i want to completely turn it off.

Not familiar with your device, and what I found online was a little old.

Settings
Apps
(show system)
Call Settings
Proximity Sensor

Also, there appears to be some apps available to recalibrate the sensor to restore function after a broken screen.

S60 does not seem to have the "call settings", i can't find it. I also used calibration apps with no luck. I also used app that suppose to turn off the sensor but it didn't work!

Have you tried cleaning the screen and the area around the sensor?
You would be surprised how often this is overlooked.

Also, try:

Settings
Call Settings
Other
Proximity Sensor

Some devices have no user control of the sensor.

There are other ways if the device is rooted.
