on my galaxy presedent how do i get rid of the android keyboard? Ready to throw this f..... phone into the lake!

Hi and welcome to Android Forums. 
If you mean you want to replace it with another keyboard then you can find a good few in the Play Store such as Swiftkey (my favourite) and Swype.
When you install one of those, you will get the choice of which keyboard you want to be default, just set the default keyboard to your new one and you're done.
