tv doesnt recognize box

Hello folks, this is my first post
I have a M8S 4K OTT tv box, i have it hooked up to a samsung led smart tv, it has been working flawlessly untill a few nights ago, came home to a black screen, check connections, i have tried different hdmi cables tried running it through the samsung blue ray player but still no picture. Tried a different box still no luck, can;t get passed the scree with the the boxes. I tried the box on a different tv and it works. Went through samsung and upgrade software still no picture. I have a satellite hooked up and blue ray and both work. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried using RCA connectors?

i dug out a pivo box i haven't used in years, reprogrammed it and its working flawlessly, can't believe the android boxes won't work.
 
You said that you tried it with another TV and it works, is it true? In this case the problem is on TV side. Connect the HDMI between box and TV and select from TV source the correct HDMI, the image should be there!

I tried that , tried all 3 hdmi ports , tried rca cables, tried running it through surround sound too
 
prairiedog, let's investigate step by step, not all together. Go back with your box to the TV which is working. Check again through HDMI if the TV Box works with that TV, if it works do the same with this TV with the problem and tell us exactly where it doesn't work. When you try to select the source HDMI, are you sure that you select the good one? Any image with the problem could help us to give the solution.
 
i tried 2 diiferent boxes with same results on this tv, they are m8's. I also have one on another tv that works fine ( wifes tv upstairs). Anyway when i unplug and plug back in (reboot) sometimes i can get to the screen that comes uo with the 4 or 5 boxes, can't remember what letters are in the boxes, then it goes black, sometimes rebooting i just get black right away.As in my other post i've tried them on a different tv and they work.
Should i try to do erase on the box when i hook it up to a tv that they work on. I hope this makes sense.

pdog, your problem could be screen resolution supported by TV, the problem is not on TV box side, check the supported resolution, or go to the TV with box working and change from remote control the resolution of the box to lower.
