On my previous Archos 5, I was able to record DVD's or straight from the TV and play back through the TV when desired.
However, on my new Archos 48 I can record DVD's and straight from the TV... but I am only able to play back through the TV videos that were recorded from TV. For DVD's that I have recorded, I get the following message:
"Cannot play video! HDMI/HDCP TV connection required to play this protected file"
I have since looked on Archos accessories for a HDMI/HDCP connection cable (or something similar) but there is no such item. Additionally, my google searches have returned fruitless too.
Please can someone advise how I can overcome this problem and play back my pre-recorded box sets and other DVD's through the TV?
