TV via cellular--still a dream?

I have a cottage in the boonies where there's no OTA TV signal, cable and sat are very expensive considering the limited use (2-4 days per month). I do get a good cell signal there--but only on AT&T towers.
Streaming video via cellular would seem to be an easy solution but unlimited data plans are decreasing rather than increasing, and costs are still too high. I really thought we'd be much farther down that road to cheap unlimited data.

Is there a plan, provider, device or another technology that can get me 10GB+ per month for $30 or less? If not--then old-school copper still rules...

I tell you this, having a note ii on cricket, and not needing a new phone any time soon. Whichever carrier comes out with truly unlimited data, will get my money.

Softbank, the owner of sprint. Said if they could buy tmobile. They would start a very aggressive price war which (tough not said directly) could include unlimited data with no throttling.
