tv watching

hi i need some help i would like to watch various tv programs via the internet such as bbc1 itv1 etc but i need a program like java does anyone know what i need to do or where i can get a free app to sort tne problem out thanks

Hello jobdone, welcome to the forums.

A search on, "tv," in Market, will yield many applications for viewing tv programs. The better percentage of those apps require Adobe Flash player.

Adobe Flash player cannot install on all versions of the Android OS.

2.2, "Froyo," has that capability, so if your device is running Froyo, you can install Flash and then have success with the tv apps which require it.

thanks my phone is a samsung apollo gt-i5800 its says on the box touchwiz 3.0 so what do you think any ideas on the program

Go into menu > settings > about phone and scroll to the OS version (2.1, 2.2, etc). If it's 2.2 (or higher, such as 2.2.1) then you're Flash capable.

TouchWiz is just the launcher.
