Android Question

Hey Everyone,

I was hopping if someone could help me.

I have a Chinese TWD_MID (Chinese Tablet) with 4.0.4 Installed ,also rooted and suddenly it froze and it turn off (Shutdown) and Turn on (restarted) itself. but it completely erase all my contents and it also didn't let me download apps on Google play.

I decide to give a "Factory Reset" via the settings and it turn off then turn on and a it appear a image with a android resting with his body panel open showing a red warning sign with a exclamation mark. I just shut it using the power button and it normally open but still have the same problem. I read that i can give a Hard Factory reset using "recovery mode" but i try using the volume key combo and it didn't work. Plus i try to install a APK App that has the recovery script but it says "You don't have enough space" but i don't have any app installed and taken space bar its completely empty

So my question is, Is there anyway i can HARD Factory reset my tablet?? Any suggestions available and please pardon me if i ask a lot of questions but i'm new to this whole android community. :D

Thanks,

Hi, and welcome.

A general rule of thumb is that you do not factory reset a rooted device except through recovery.

I am not sure about the device you have, but please look for a folder for it on forums and see if someone on here can help you.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
