Twidroid New version for droid

Hey guys i just saw twidroid on their website and twitter post that their new version of twidroid for droid comes out the 19th which is in 2 days but right now is in beta...does thta mean we can somehow download the beta and see how it is...if so where i dont see it on the app store.

Using Twidroid on my new Droid. I don't want to hear, feel or see that I've got new tweets. I've gone to the setting screen and long-pressed on "Vibrate on Alerts," "Play ringtone on alerts" and "LED flash on new tweets" without success. how do I turn off these notifications?

Go to Twidroid settings, notifications, and uncheck background notifications.

What helped was to do that, exit the program and reopen it. I was then able to uncheck the 3 alert notifications.
