Help Twitter App problem

Hey Guys.

I recently signed out of my twitter app and now for some reason it wont sign in.

Ive tried uninstalling it and reinstalling.

Tried another Twitter app that didnt work either.

I can sign in through my browser fine.

Basically it keeps saying my user name or Password/email is wrong.

But it isnt, Ive been trying for weeks, I even tried changing the password from my PC and then trying it again but still the same.

Any help appriciated.

Are you signing in with your username or email? If you are using your username make sure to put "@" before it.

That dont work putting @then my name.

It doesnt work if i put either name or email lol

Are you using the default twitter app? If so try a different one like tweetDeck and see if that works for you.

Ahh mate please read my post, I have tried other twitter apps.

Tweet Deck works but the normal twitter app doesnt. Neither does Twitroid.

Dont like tweetdeck really want the original up and running

I have the same problem. I'm sure my username and password are right. But all my login attempts are failing.

Any ideas?

If you log in to Twitter (via browser), go to settings and under the connections tab, check to see if you've allowed access to Twitter for Android. To ensure you aren't having oAuth problems, try revoking it and logging in again.

Dear Ryan,

unfortunately, I've tried to do what you advised me but it didn't work.

So, I decided to google further and found the answer. It was a timezone setting problem. I had to use the same timezone, both on my twitter settings and my mobile phone settings.

Here is the answer, given by the guys from twitter themselves.
