Anyone else find it uses a massive amount of data on the new interface?

Opened it up this morning & it used 39MB in 5 minutes :eek:

Not good when I'm on 500MB a month :(
 
I've just gone back to a previous version whilst they sort it out.

Pity cos I like the new interface :(
 
Twitter for android used to be the only app we can use to sigh on Twitter.com here in my VERY country

but now dont kwoe why it cant access the web ,woops ,there will be a looong time cant tweet from my phone :(
 
This app uses way too much data but I can't work out why.

I have it set on 1 hour refresh, I've used it 5 times today for about 15 mins in total & it's used 40MB :eek:
 
Is it still doing it, did you fix it. Mine was fine after the original install date and has been okay, but today for some reason it has decided to go mad and download data at around 20Mb an hour. Not sure why this is, or whats going on as there hasn't been an update that I have noticed. No settings seem to have changed, and its updating fine.

If you fixed it, how?
