Twitter Usernames

Hi Al,
never used this before so I have decided to try it but Flipping Hell trying
to input a user name on this site is proving a nightmare so far.
Been trying all manner of weird names and every single one is already used!
Maybe I should check Encyclopedia Britannica.
Did it take you guys long when you decided to sign up?

ive been on it a while, i had one originally when twitter 1st started up, but never kept it updated, but do now, my username is same as this one, J1mmyG88

I use the same one wherever I log on, it's an amalgam of my names, so no one else uses it :-D
