Two notification icons for K-9 Mail

Hi,

For some reason two notification icons pop up for new mail in K-9. One shows how many new e-mails there are, but the other one I do not know what is for. Right now it shows "2" but it has been that number for quite some time. If someone could look at the screen shot and let me know what the icon all the way to the left is, and how I can prevent it from popping up it would be great.

Why do you think the other icon is related to K9? Does it go to K9 when you press on the notification? I'm guessing that it's not caused by K9. Do you have some kind of mail helper/widget installed? Could be your phone's built-in messaging (text / email).

Thanks. Both icons seems to appear at the same time, so I assumed they were both from K-9. Nothing happens when I touch the icon, and there's no information in the notification area dropdown. Also, I have never set up an account in the built in e-mail client and turned off notification for messaging and the Gmail client. I may have overlooked something though. Maybe someone recognizes that icon and can let me know what it is if it turns out no to be K-9?

I've noticed a very similar icon on my Vibrant when I get notifications from apps such as MyBackup and when a profile is set via Power Manager. They go away as soon as I hit the Clear all button on the pulldown notification screen.

I may be wrong, but I don't think that K9 is the culprit. It's kinda odd that there isn't more information when you pull down the notification bar.

There's information for the mail icon, but not for the far left one. It goes away when I clear the notification area, but comes back when K-9 checks mail. I's also hard to see what the icon really is since it's covered by the red number.

That icon on the left just means you have more notifications in the list that cannot be displayed in the bar.

Thank you!!! Thats exactly what it is. Do you have any idea why it pops up at the same time the e-mail icon does? Maybe because the e-mail icon takes takes the last space?
