Two questions about themes

Alright, I've got a rooted G1. I have two simple questions.

How do you make themes for it? A link to a thread with instructions or something is sufficient. I'll admit I didn't search first, but I'm on my phone, sorry :-/

Will installing themes erase all your data? I read somewhere that installing custom themes requied a factory reset every time or something. Is that true?

As for the data question, I believe you have to wipe to install them, but I could be wrong. There should be a lot more data about that in the thread above.

Wow, thanks for the quick reply, dude. Unfortunately that looks like A LOT more work than I'm willing to do. Maybe I'll change my mind, but no themes for me just now lmao. Got enough to worry about as it is.

Haha yeah, I hear you. It's a lot of work, but once you have the process down, it can't be too bad. Scripts are your friend
