Comcast cable. Today the 4G symbol is gone and looks to me like there are two wifi symbols.
Any ideas at all what may have ever happened?

When you wrote, "... there are two wifi symbols..." do you mean two identical symbols (the inverted cone) or two sort of similar symbols. A screen capture would help.
Have you tried restarting your phone to see if the problem is reoccurring?
