If you are running the beta version of TWRP, this .img will not flash.

You can still flash it using a flasher app.
I have successfully flashed it using ROM Toolbox's flasher, but I cannot confirm for other flasher apps.

Yes indeed. As previously warned, there are many hacked versions of this tool floating around, infected with various forms of malware, so I wouldn't recommend running one of these on your computer.

Congrats guys. Whenever I can get a chance, I'll have to give this a try. I'm still using my Pro as a 2nd backup

UNI no longer needed. The Z981 Firehose/Programmer has been retrieved & new instructions & files will be release soon. Come to Discord if u want to see how this sausage is being made. Everything is public. No one should pay for anything.

I flash the file in edl by nck box and EFT dongle and show done
But twrp not work
The phone still on stock recovery

I did see your post on xda were you detailed the same method on rooting the zte zmax pro. But someone there pointed out that the files you linked were malware. I never tried this method. But is the accusation true?
