I have a TX3 Pro box which was always restarting and crashing so I flashed it with the latest image but it made no difference, as its a Amlogic S905X box I found another image but it was for the Nexbox which seems far better but it doesn't detect the wireless adaptor or the infra red for the remote. I cannot re flash it as it will not enter the reset mode when I press the button with a pin. How can I get around this or get the WiFi and ir to work?

One of the problems with flashing these devices is that you almost certainly will lose some of the functions you had before. But there are workarounds for both your problems IF you don't want to replace your box or buy a new one...

A USB "air-mouse" or keyboard/mouse combo will fix the IR problem.

A device LIKE THIS will extend your existing WiFi and enable you to use a short (included) cable to plug your Android TV box to your home network.
