Typing question

I have Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 S7275R mobile and when i want to change from lower-case to upper-case or upper-case to lower-case letters when i write SMS or any text i press the up-arrow button on the virtual keyboard and i must press it two times instead of one. What should i do to fix it?

The first press should act like the shift key. The second press acts like caps lock. There's nothing broken about it. A different keyboard may behave a different way. So try that.

The double tap is even standard for iPhone and has been on every android keyboard I have ever used. Very well explained Sulky!!!
