U.S. judge issues injunction on Samsung Galaxy Tab sales

If prices come down on the 10.1 for stores to rid of inventory......i may get another for the wifey. Thanks apple! You just make it loud and clear how much you fear android.
 
If you can't lead with better products, lead by suing everyone.


Otoh, we all now have RARE VINTAGE GALAXY tabs that are worth twice what we paid for them :)

I'm glad this is happening. Let them ban the 10.1.

And let me sell it for more than I paid for it on ebay... then I can get a newer tablet :)
 
Here's some background info on the basis of these lawsuits and temporary injunctions that affect the GTab 10.1 and GNexus:

Reading through this points out (I think) that the courts are not the proper venue to decide infringement. On a touchscreen device, there are only so many ways of accomplishing a task. The courts do not have the technical knowledge to understand the concepts of independent and inevitable discovery. Even when the litigants present their own technical experts, the courts are so far "out of their element" that they do not understand the auguments being presented, and decide the case based on elements unrelated to technical merit.

It may not happen in our lifetime, but IMO, an independent team of qualified technical experts should decide these cases and then turn over their findings to the courts to either dismiss or award damages. The current system is flawed.
