Uber has been looking to expand their transportation service in any way that they can. The company has what they call the Family Profiles feature and now it's getting something new.
The new feature is called Trip Tracker and it will give you a notification anytime someone in your list/family gets in a Uber car. You can then follow them in the app in real-time to make sure they reach their destination safely.
