Uber has been accused of stealing trade secrets from Waymo, the self-driving company formed by Alphabet. It's said that a former Waymo engineer swiped 14,000 pages' worth of documents upon his exit from the company, and used them to entice Uber to buy his startup. Uber has since been trying to settle the matter in arbitration, however a judge has denied that request and referred the case to the Attorney General to determine the next course of action.
