Uber is rolling out a new pricing plan in select cities. The new pricing plan will make getting a ride as cheap as paying for a bus. The current pricing depends on how far you want to go and how busy it is.
The new plans will be offered in the form of packages. You can buy 20 trips for $20, 40 trips for $30, and a flat $2 for UberPool rides. UberX and private cars will be $7. The new pricing is being tested in San Diego, Boston, Seattle, Miami, and Washington DC.
