UDP Port Forwarding

I've forwarded TCP ports on my android before using 'Android Proxy Server' How can I forward UDP traffic?

I need a udp port on my phone to forward everything it gets to a public IP on a server I run, and when my server replies to my phone, to pass back those packets to my laptop, connected to my phone via hotspot.

This app may help : https://github.com/elixsr/FwdPortForwardingApp/ - it claims to be able to forward UDP ports.

Tried it. Didn't appear to actually forward UDP. Or maybe it did but just not the return traffic
