Ui-automator killing the instance of my current app and coming in front with that instance

Uiautomator killing my App's instance and takes over its. Hi I am trying to open uiAutomator, but whenever my uiautomator comes in front in an it kills my instance of the app and takes the instance of that app I want both of things alive my uiAutomator and my app both have the same package how do I do that? Please can anyone help me its urgent
