So I have a LG G3 from sprint, But I am with a different carrier. It is called i wireless, it is through the company Kroger. Now my question is how do I get 4G to work? I originally got it programmed over to i wireless and could only get 3G. I found out I needed the SIM card specifically for the LG G3. Now I am fully aware ( after I purchased it) that you can only have the SIM card paired with the first device. And yes I bought it used. Without the SIM card 3G works perfectly fine and with the SIM card the 3G works perfectly fine as well. The annoying icon saying no SIM card inserted is gone.
Now as the title stated I have gotten 4G to work for about 30 seconds, and it was legitimately working. Which makes me think there is a way for that SIM card to help me get onto 4G. i wireless does support 4G, because I had it on my samsung galaxy S 3 and Note 2. both those phones did no require a SIM card. And I always got 4G around my home. So the way I got 4G to work is when I had it reprogrammed by the tech at i wireless, and when I went into self service and reset cellular data, ( probably I was doing the same thing) once it reset it said LTE and had the Sprint spark thing. Then it would do the hands free activation, a PRL update, then would reset. And then it would return to 3G. The phone is not rooted and text and calls work fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If it cannot possibly work, then I may switch carriers ( if you have any recommendations for a good cheap carrier that I can bring the LG G3 to and get all the function out of my device, let me know), I pay $35 a month for unlimited everything. ( 500 MB for high speed, after that it is slower)
