Help UK 2.1 New PC Studio

Hi all, do you know if the latest firmware version from new pc studio 1.5 fixes the GPS issues? I was advised by Samsung to do this to fix the GPS issue. I am on the latest firmware from the sam firmware site and the issue still isn't resolved.

GPS will not lock on unless the wifi is selected in the security and location options to allow the handset to locate.

Build number: ECLAIR.XXJH6
Baseband i570EXXJD1
Firmware version: 2.1 update 1

I did try to downgrade to 1.5 firmware from the sam firmware site then use the new pc studio to update but it won't let me.

Any ideas appreciated.

I believe the baseband version you download through PC Studio is only i570EXXJC1.

Get yourself on JH6, root your phone, and stick on the Samdroid Kitchen mod. This is about as uptodate as you can get.
