UK specific applications

Can anyone suggest applications that are made for UK users?

The two things I am looking for are UK weather and UK radio.

I like weather bug but the additional features are US only. Are there any that will show UK Radar?

I have tried beebplayer but it connects only 1 in 20 attempts at best. I works like to listen to the bbc radio stations only.

Try myplayer - better than beebplayer.

For weather I have a link to the met office's mobile site as a shortcut icon. Find it more accurate than most - used to use Weatherbug but was very inaccurate for forecasts.
