Has anybody figured out how to turn it OFF

I hate voicemail on mobiles, since it seems to kick in after only 4 or 5 rings, but everytime I disable it in the settings menu, it turns itself back on
:mad::mad::mad:

Any ideas ?????

I hate voicemail too, considering we have to pay to pick up the messages people leave and it doesn't come off our montly call allowance. The only thing to do is to call T-Mobile and ask them to turn off voicemail for you, they might not like the idea as they rake in money for you answering missed calls but they can't deny you the right to have it removed.

if you want to keep voicemail on, but for it to kick in after a longer interval there's a network code that includes you voicemail access number that can extend your timeout. Now if only i could remember it.......

The standard GSM code for voicemail delay on most networks is *61*. I havent tried it on TMobile, but here is the information

Divert Voice Calls, No Answer
Delay nn seconds: max 30 seconds, in 5 second increments
Set: **61*destination*11*nn#[SEND]
Cancel: ##61*11#[SEND]
Query: *#61*11#[SEND]
