uknown symbol in notification bar

[Android Question]

I have a HTC amaze running 4.0.3 android through t mobile and I have an unknown symbol in my notification bar that I want to know what it is and why its there. It kinda looks like an ear.....but it looks like an earbud perhaps. A single one with a plugging part at the end and two "sound wave" lines to Tue right of it. Mind you I have no head phones or earbuds plugged into the device....and when I do it would have a different symbol for the headphones...it would show a pic of headphones.

Can you post a screenshot of your homescreen with that icon in the status bar?
