Hi people,

After many hours googling and the like i've decided to join and ask the question.

short version, is there a way to play music from one android device to another android device?

Long version
I recently bought an android TV box (vega 89-h)

I would like it to be my main source of media.
I have an extrnal hdd connected,

I have an iphone 5
i have a samsung galaxy note 2
i have a htc sensation XL

I would like the TV box to be like a media server. How do i do this,

I have installed media monkey but it seems it is a player and doesnt sync to each other

Ultimately id like to be able to play songs from my phone through the tv box, id like to be able to play the songs on my media box and use the phone as a control, also id like to be able to play music from the media box off my phone.

Can anyone help, or send a link for how to or a guide.

so far i have managed to get the iphone to use airplay via XBMC on the tv box

I have been able to get the TV box to play music from my PC via media monkey.

I have used various cast apps like all cast or ezcast but this doesnt let me play music off my tv box to my phone (id like to be able to do this without the TV on so if i was in the next room i could just use the phone to search the tv box.

was kinda thinking like the blue tooth in the car, the phones can then controll the car system. is there a way to do this on android as in make the tv box like a receiver?

Im not too fussed if the iphone doesnt work as i hardly use it for media (work phone)
